What is Norfolk Capital Group? +

Norfolk Capital Group is a UK financial-services group investing in specialist lending and broking businesses that serve consumers, landlords, property investors and SMEs.

Which companies are part of the group? +

The group includes Automoney Trust Limited, Central Loans Limited (trading as The Loans Engine), Central Trust Limited, Commercial Trust Limited, Mercantile Trust Limited, Norwich Trust Limited, and Norfolk Capital Management Services Limited.

Who owns and leads Norfolk Capital Group? +

Norfolk Capital Group Limited is the holding company through which principals Andrew and Sharon Turner invest in financial services businesses. Andrew Turner is Executive Chairman and has led the group since its founding in 1988.

Where is Norfolk Capital Group based? +

The group's registered office and headquarters are in Norwich, Norfolk. It also operates from offices in Watford and Redditch.

What types of financial products does the group offer? +

Across its companies, the group offers vehicle finance, secured and unsecured personal loans, buy to let mortgages, bridging finance, commercial loans, and specialist residential mortgages.

Can I apply directly to Norfolk Capital Group for a loan? +

Generally yes, though requirements vary by company and product. Our portfolio companies work with directly authorised brokers, appointed representatives, and in some cases directly with consumers. Please contact the relevant company for their specific criteria.

What support is available for broker partners? +

Our portfolio companies provide dedicated broker support teams, case management assistance, and regular updates on products and cases.

Is Norfolk Capital Group regulated by the FCA? +

Norfolk Capital Group Limited, as a holding company, is not itself authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. However, each subsidiary that conducts regulated activities holds the appropriate FCA authorisation in its own right. You can verify the regulatory status of any group company on the FCA Register at register.fca.org.uk.

How do I make a complaint? +

Complaints should be directed to the specific group company you have dealt with. Each company has its own complaints handling procedure in line with FCA requirements.
